Events

Madeley Town Council organises a number of  public events each year and supports local groups to put on others for the community.

pop up events 2023

February half term will see a children’s film showing at the Anstice. The Easter holidays will be host to the Great Madeley Easter Bunny Trail along with the Madeley Mayor’s Children’s Spring Pantomime at the Anstice.

On Saturday 6 May, Madeley will celebrate the King’s Coronation.

It is hoped to provide some sports activities during the Spring Bank holiday in May.

August will see the return of our successful Summer Picnic – this time one for each of our communities; Madeley, Sutton Hill and Woodside.

We will also have our Pumpkin Trail in the October half term.

Madeley Green Day

Madeley Green Day – usually held mid September, this event is a much loved family event that sees lots of free activities for the family. Along with displays, hands-on activities , attractions and information keeping to the theme of Nature, Wildlife, Environment and Wellbeing.

Madeley REMEMBERS

Madeley Remembrance Parade and Service 2023 will appear here in due course.

Madeley Christmas Lights

This is held at the end of November, this event is the highlight of the year when the Christmas lights are switched on around the town. It includes a Christmas street market, activities, shows, Santa’s grotto, Santa’s sleigh parade and of course the finale of the grand switch-on.
