Madeley Town Council organises a number of public events each year and supports local groups to put on others for the community.

August will see the return of our successful Summer Picnic – this time one for each of our communities; Madeley, Sutton Hill and Woodside. The Madeley event will be partnered with our High Street Celebration.
We will also have our Pumpkin Trail in the October half term.

MADELEY HIGH STREET CELEBRATION
On Tuesday 8 August between 10am-2pm we will be celebrating Madeley’s High Street traders by holding a special family fun-filled event.
Follow the ‘Sunshine Trail’ of local businesses, Madeley Market & Charity Fundraisers, Traditional Fairground Rides and attractions, big garden games, music and craft activities, face painting and refreshments, meet the animals. Also we have local author Roy Bradshaw in Madeley Community Library.
So why not come down, bring a blanket and a picnic and enjoy a day full of free activities and attractions.

Madeley Remembrance Parade and Service 2023 will appear here in due course.
Madeley Christmas Lights
This is held at the end of November, this event is the highlight of the year when the Christmas lights are switched on around the town. It includes a Christmas street market, activities, shows, Santa’s grotto, Santa’s sleigh parade and of course the finale of the grand switch-on.
