Hello everyone, Santa here – as you know I’m going to be bringing some jolly cheer to Madeley, Woodside and Sutton Hill on 2nd & 3rd December with my wonderful Christmas carnival float. As there are so many of you to see I will be touring different areas on each night. Sadly, I can’t make it down every street, but we will be nearby so LISTEN OUT for us, you’ll definitely HEAR US!
It is very hard to give exact timings, but if you keep an eye on the Madeley Town Council Facebook page we will be posting regularly on where Santa’s is heading and there will be an App you can download to follow the float. So look out for this on each evening.
If you’d like to come out and wave, we’d love to see you; dress up, wave a flashy thing or just watch, but please take care, wrap up warm and stay safe – we don’t want anyone poorly at Christmas.
On Friday 2 December, I will arrive at the Park Lane Centre, Woodside to switch on the festive lights at 5pm. The carnival float will then leave the Centre at around 5.10pm and will make its way around the streets, incorporating Woodside and parts of Madeley.
On Saturday 3 December, I will arrive at the Sutton Hill Centre to switch on the festive lights at 5pm. The carnival float will then leave the Centre at around 5.10pm and will make its way around.
